SJOOW cables

Rubber service cords with (UL) + c(UL) LISTED approvals. They are resistant to oils, water, UV exposure and suitable for outdoor and hard usages and wet installations.

APPLICATIONS

These jacketed service cords are used for indoor and outdoor electrical power connections requiring high flexibility and time durability and are suitable for both wet and dry locations. They offer an excellent resistance to heat, oils, water, ozone besides of sunlight, chemicals and abrasion. Typical heavy-duty applications where their use is required include wiring for industrial machinery, large appliances, temporary supply of electrical power and lighting for construction sites. They are often used also in portable equipment and appliances, power extension, small motors and associated machinery.

CABLE STRUCTURE

Electrolytic flexible bare copper conductor conforming to UL 62 and UL 1581 requirements.
EPDM elastomeric rubber conforming to Class 3 of Table 8 of standard UL 62 and resistant to oils contact up to 60°C.
The inner cores are twisted together with length of lay conforming to Table 10 of UL 62 standard, wherever it is necessary together with a polyester filler
Separator tape.
CPE elastomeric rubber conforming to Class 1.4 of Table 11 of standard UL 62, water resistant and oils resistant up to 60°C.
