Company history

Founded by Alessandro Sebastiani, the company is now led by his children, Daniele and Monica.

Strategic technological investments tailored to each product category have resulted in production being divided across two companies: Salcavi SpA, specialising in the production of power cables, power cords, and custom-designed retractile cords; and Salcavi Technic SpA, focused on the manufacture of special cables, both operating under the sole direction of the SALCAVI INDUSTRIE team.

A genuine passion for the industry is shared across the entire team, driving an organisational model focused on service quality, product excellence and reliable, on-time delivery.

Our work

For over forty years, we have pursued continuous improvement, ensuring reliability and consistency in our operations.
Through close collaboration with our customers, we have developed expertise in the challenges of processing cables with automated machinery, allowing us to provide highly customised solutions in terms of both the materials used and processability.

We primarily work with cabling specialists of household appliances, lighting and automotive applications, as well as industrial distributors.
Our entire production chain is carefully and constantly monitored, with particular attention to the selection of raw materials, also thanks to our partnership with qualified suppliers.

Our philosophy

Our corporate philosophy is based on two core principles: strong customer-supplier collaboration and providing a comprehensive service with a broad product range, supported by the extensive diversification of production.
Our goal is not merely to sell a product or, worse still, compete on price alone. Instead, we strive to offer a complete service, including assistance, customised packaging and technical consultancy.
A deep understanding of the market and our customers’ needs drives us to expand our international certifications each year and develop new products tailored to customer specifications.

Production units and specializations

At the recently expanded Salcavi production site, now covering 20,000 sqm of indoor space, we primarily manufacture IMQ-HAR certified electrical and control cables, available with insulation in PVC, halogen-free thermoplastics, rubber-based compounds, or polyurethane. At the same facility, we also produce power cords with overmoulded plugs, with international certifications, as well as IMQ-HAR certified retractile cords or custom-designed solutions.

The Salcavi Technic facility is dedicated to the production of custom-designed special cables, developed either according to specific requirements or in collaboration with the customer.
Our cables are UL, CSA, IMQ, VDE, ACS, AD8 certified or multi-standard, complying with European, American and Canadian regulations.
We have specialised equipment for insulation using all types of thermoplastic and fluoro-thermoplastic materials, cross-linked polyolefins, cross-linked rubber and polyurethane.
