SOOW cables

Rubber service cords with (UL) + c(UL) LISTED approvals. They are resistant to oils, water, UV exposure and suitable for outdoor and extra hard usages and water immersion up to 10 meters.

APPLICATIONS

SOOW rubber cords are robust, tough and widely used in a number of industrial and construction area and everywhere long life cables are required. They resist oils, water, ozone, aging, and abrasion and are designed for extra hard usage on industrial equipment, heavy tools, battery chargers, portable lights, power extensions. They are also recommended for mining applications, control systems in industrial plants, steel mills, process facilities and construction sites, machine and power tools, cranes and dockside power applications or where water immersion is required.

CABLE STRUCTURE

Electrolytic flexible bare copper conductor conforming to UL 62 and UL 1581 requirements.
EPDM elastomeric rubber conforming to Class 3 of Table 8 of standard UL 62 and resistant to oils contact up to 60°C.
The inner cores are twisted together with length of lay conforming to Table 10 of UL 62 standard, wherever it is necessary together with a polyester filler
Separator tape.
CPE elastomeric rubber conforming to Class 1.4 of Table 11 of standard UL 62, water resistant and oils resistant up to 60°C.
