SI-TECHPRENE Insulated Wires

Cross-linked halogen-free rubber insulated single-core cables suitable for high temperature up to 120°C (up to 150°C for 3000 hours).

CABLE STRUCTURE

  • Electrolytic bare (for 120°C rating) or tinned (for 155°C rating) copper stranded conductor (class 5), complying with IEC 60228 standard (where this is applicable).
  • Halogen-free cross-linked polyolefin insulation with low emission of fumes and without toxic and acid gases. Rated temperature : - 40 ÷155 °C at fixed installations and for general uses ( 3000 h ), class E of temperature for wiring of electrical engines ( 120 °C for 20.000 hours as per CEI EN 62114), peak temperature 170°C only for short time.

APPLICATIONS

Flexible 120°C or 155°c rated wires that are suggested for internal and fixed wiring of electrical appliances or sensors and everywhere the temperature on conductor is not greater than the rated temperature. The excellent mechanical and chemical resistance (above all to vanishes attack) of insulation permit their use even in wiring of electrical engines (class E accordingly to CEI EN 62114). The 0.6/1 kV rated voltage cables are particularly suitable for wiring of power devices, lighting and switchboard.
